Most outdoor furniture is built to survive the elements, not create memories.
Our client had already commissioned a dining table from us and loved how it brought the family together indoors. Now they wanted that same feeling outside - a space where everyone would actually want to gather, even when British weather turned bitter.
The brief was simple but demanding: create outdoor pieces that combined serious functionality with proper craftsmanship. Something that people haven't seen before.
No flimsy patio furniture. No compromises on quality. It needed to work as hard in January as it did in July.

We started by sourcing local Elm and Oak - timber with the character and durability to handle outdoor life. Both pieces needed integrated gas fire pits, so engineering came before aesthetics.
We designed bespoke steel leg frames that could support the weight of solid timber slabs while housing the gas systems safely. Every piece was hand-milled in our workshop, with the gas ignition systems custom-fitted to work seamlessly with the natural timber.
The Elm dining table got clean lines for family meals. The Oak cookie table kept its natural edge for that raw, organic look. Throughout the 90 days, the client got weekly video updates showing their outdoor space taking shape.

Two heirloom-quality pieces that turned a garden into a year-round gathering spot.
The Elm dining table seats the whole family for summer BBQs. The Oak cookie table creates a focal point when temperatures drop - flames dancing through British wood that's probably older than the house itself.
Both tables delivered on time, within budget, and built to outlast the mortgage.
The client's already sent friends our way. That's the best outcome we can ask for.
